Itinerary Details

Arrive at Paro International Airport and drive to Thimphu (approx. 1.5–2 hours). After checking into your hotel, you can visit the Tashichho Dzong or take a relaxing walk through the town’s local markets. Enjoy a peaceful evening in the capital before spending the night in Thimphu.
Start the day with a visit to the majestic Buddha Dordenma statue, offering panoramic views of Thimphu. Continue to National Memorial Chorten, National Textile Museum, and Changangkha Monastery. In the evening, enjoy some free time for shopping or leisure in Thimphu’s vibrant markets. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast, drive to Punakha (about 3 hours), passing through Dochula Pass, known for its stunning Himalayan views. At the pass, stop to explore the Dochula Monastery and the 108 chortens. Once in Punakha, visit the stunning Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful and significant dzongs in Bhutan, and take a short walk to Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility. Stay overnight in Punakha.
Today, enjoy a relaxing morning exploring Punakha further. You’ll visit the Punakha Suspension Bridge, which offers scenic views of the surrounding rivers and mountains. In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Pho River or take a short hike in the surrounding hills. You’ll also have the chance to explore Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a beautiful monastery with panoramic views of the valley. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Drive to Phobjikha Valley (approximately 3 hours), a remote and beautiful destination famous for its winter habitat of the black-necked cranes. Visit the Gangtey Monastery, perched high above the valley and offering breathtaking views. Spend the afternoon walking through the tranquil valley or visit the Black-Necked Crane Information Centre to learn about the migratory birds. Stay overnight in Phobjikha Valley.
After breakfast, you’ll drive to the remote and picturesque Haa Valley, which takes around 3-4 hours. Haa Valley is one of Bhutan’s hidden gems, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. Once you arrive, visit the Lhakhang Karpo and Lhakhang Nagpo, two ancient temples in the valley, and take a walk through the traditional villages. Enjoy the calm and serene environment of this lesser-known valley. Overnight stay in Haa Valley.
Today, travel to Paro (approximately 3 hours). After checking in, you’ll visit Rinpung Dzong, an architectural masterpiece that also serves as the administrative center of Paro District. In the afternoon, head to the National Museum of Bhutan to explore the country’s rich history, art, and culture. The evening is free for leisure or a stroll around Paro’s main street. The final day of your tour is dedicated to the trek to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang). Located 3,120 meters above sea level, this iconic monastery clings to a cliff face and offers breathtaking views of the Paro Valley. The hike to the monastery takes about 4-5 hours round trip, with the opportunity to take in the stunning landscape. After your descent, you’ll have some time to relax before being transferred to Paro International Airport for your departure.
